a new residential area

City developer Balder owns, manages and develops housing, commercial properties and hotels in Sweden, Norway and Finland. Fixfabriken is a new project in the district of Majorna where Balder creates space for approximately 270 condominiums. Our mission was to package Fixfabriken and its first project Bränneriet in a positioning concept, put the new residential area on the map and get at least 1340 registrations of interest before the start of sales.


the best location in history

Rarely has a neighborhood been so well composed, genuine and authentic. So accessible and so generous when it comes to raw materials, range, service, people and experiences. For us, the mission was about carving out the concept with archaeological precision – and emphasize the best location in history. Meaning the best place to live in with 360° benefits and at the same time a tribute to what probably is Sweden's oldest residential area.



The concept was developed on project websites, in social media campaigns, on Hemnet and in its own unique magazine. The magazine won gold in the Publishing Prize and silver in Svenska Designpriset. We passed 1340 registrations of interest fairly fast and came up to a full 4826 at the start of sales. As of right now that number is 8808 …
